Terms & conditions

These terms tell you who we are, how we will supply furniture to you, how you and we may end the contract, and what to do if there is a problem. Please read them before you order.

About us

Dealio is a trading name of Dealio Enterprises Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number [company registration number to be confirmed], with its registered office at [registered office address to be confirmed]. VAT number [VAT number to be confirmed].

You can reach us at info@dealioxperience.com or [customer care telephone number to be confirmed]. If we need to contact you we will do so by telephone or by writing to the email or postal address you gave us when ordering.

These terms

These terms apply to every order placed through this website. By placing an order you accept them.

Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer. If any part of these terms conflicts with a right you have under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, your statutory right prevails.

How a contract is formed

Placing an order is an offer to buy. Our acknowledgement that your order has been received is not acceptance.

A contract is formed only when we send you an order confirmation email. If we cannot accept your order, for example because the piece is out of stock, because we have identified a pricing or description error, or because we cannot deliver to your address, we will tell you and will not charge you. Any payment already taken will be refunded in full.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT at the applicable rate. Delivery is charged separately and is shown at checkout before you pay.

We take payment through Stripe. Your order is confirmed only once Stripe tells us the payment has succeeded; returning to our website from the payment page is not by itself confirmation.

We take reasonable care to price the catalogue correctly. If we discover an error in the price of what you ordered, we will contact you before dispatch and you may confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it.

Delivery

We deliver to addresses in the United Kingdom. Available services and charges appear at checkout:

  • Standard UK delivery, £49, complimentary on qualifying orders of £500 or more after any discount.
  • Room-of-choice delivery, £99, where our team places the piece in the room you choose.

Some postcodes need a separate arrangement. If your postcode is unavailable at checkout, contact us before ordering.

Delivery dates are agreed with you individually after your order is confirmed. We will deliver within 30 days of the contract unless we agree a longer period with you. If we miss an agreed date and delivery by that date was essential, or you told us so when ordering, you may treat the contract as at an end and receive a refund for anything undelivered.

Responsibility for the goods passes to you when they are delivered to the address you gave us.

Access, measurements and suitability

Furniture is large. Before ordering, please measure the piece against your doorways, hallways, staircases, lifts and the space it is intended for, allowing for turns and handrails.

Tell us about parking restrictions, narrow access or upper floors when you order, so we can recommend the right delivery service.

If a delivery cannot be completed because the item will not fit or access was not as described, we may charge the reasonable cost of the attempted delivery and any return carriage. This does not affect your cancellation rights below.

Your right to cancel

You may cancel most orders within 14 days of the day you, or someone you nominate, receive the goods. You do not need to give a reason.

To cancel, tell us clearly at info@dealioxperience.com before the 14 days expire. You must then return the goods within 14 days of telling us, to [returns address to be confirmed], or make them available for collection if we have arranged that.

  • We refund the price you paid, together with the standard delivery cost we charged you. If you chose a more expensive delivery service, we refund only the standard amount.
  • You pay the cost of returning bulky items unless the goods are faulty or were misdescribed. We will tell you the collection cost before you commit to it.
  • We refund within 14 days of receiving the goods back, or of your evidence that you have sent them, using the same payment method you used.
  • You may handle the goods as you would in a shop. If their value is reduced by handling beyond that, we may deduct that reduction from your refund.

The right to cancel does not apply to goods made to your specification or clearly personalised. Where that applies to a piece, we will make it clear before you order.

Faulty or misdescribed goods

If goods are faulty, not as described or not fit for a purpose you told us about, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 gives you rights in addition to the cancellation right above:

  • Within 30 days of delivery you may reject the goods and receive a full refund.
  • After 30 days and within six months you may ask us to repair or replace them. If that fails, or is not possible, you may claim a refund, which may be reduced to reflect your use.
  • After six months the same rights apply, but you may need to show the fault was present at delivery.

Contact info@dealioxperience.com with your order number and a photograph of the problem, and we will arrange inspection, repair, replacement or collection at our cost.

Natural materials and product information

Our pieces use timber, leather, stone and woven textiles. Grain, knots, shade, veining and weave differ between batches and between individual pieces, and leather carries the natural marks of the hide.

Screen colours vary between devices. Images and swatches on this website are a guide, not an exact match. Variation of this kind is a characteristic of the material, not a fault, and we recommend ordering a swatch where one is offered.

Dimensions are nominal and carry a small manufacturing tolerance. Where an assembly is required, this is stated on the product page.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity carried out through your account. Tell us promptly at info@dealioxperience.com if you believe someone else has used it.

We may suspend or close an account that is being used fraudulently or in breach of these terms.

Discount codes

Discount codes are valid for the period and on the terms stated when issued, may set a minimum spend, and may exclude items already reduced.

Only one code may be used per order unless we say otherwise. Codes have no cash value and may be withdrawn at any time before an order is placed.

Our responsibility to you

We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking this contract or failing to use reasonable care and skill.

We do not exclude or limit our liability in any way where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and for breach of your legal rights in relation to the goods.

We are not liable for loss that was not foreseeable, or for business losses. We supply goods for domestic and private use, and if you use them for any commercial purpose we have no liability for loss of profit, loss of business or business interruption.

Events outside our control

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control. If one occurs we will contact you and extend the delivery date accordingly. If the delay is substantial, you may cancel and receive a refund for anything undelivered.

Complaints and disputes

If something has gone wrong, please contact info@dealioxperience.com first. We aim to acknowledge complaints within two working days and to resolve them within fourteen.

If we cannot resolve it between us, you may be able to use an alternative dispute resolution scheme. We will tell you which scheme applies and whether we agree to use it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of the country where you live.
